OPEN POSITIONS

Research Fellow (initially 50%)

The Florence school of Regulation and the Chair Management of Network Industries are jointly recruiting a Research Fellow to set up and run an initiative on transport regulation and policy within the Florence School of Regulation. This will complement the existing energy and telecommunications/media regulation and policy initiatives (www.florence-school.eu).


The successful candidate will be expected to organize transport regulators meetings, set up policy events, co-ordinate policy briefs and working papers, as well as develop research projects and training programs. His or her responsibilities will also include communication.


The ideal candidate has a PhD in economics, political science or engineering with a particular focus on transport (railways, roads, air transport) and experience with the European Commission. Holders of Masters with 10 years of experience or more in transport can also be considered.
